Boat ramp closed for maintenance works

A frequently used boat ramp in Bundalong will be temporarily closed for routine maintenance works in early May.

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) has identified the Pasley Street Boat Ramp as needing concreting works due to general deterioration.

GMW Storage Operations north manager David Irvine said the works had been planned to cause minimal impact.

“We held off undertaking the refurbishments until well into autumn to ensure the closure of the ramp would not coincide with times of high use,” he said.

“The ramp will be closed to the public from 6 May. From there, the works will take approximately a week to complete depending on weather conditions.

“People looking to launch their boats can head to Pyke Street Boat Ramp instead.”

The public toilets and car park next to the boat ramp will remain open throughout the works. There will not be any changes to traffic conditions.

“We thank people for their patience during the works and look forward to reopening the boat ramp when it is back in optimum condition,” Mr Irvine said.
